I shopped around for a while looking at Trek's, Cannondale's, and Giant's, all coming in around $400-$500. The Vilano C1 was half the price with the same aluminum frame, suspension fork, and Shimano parts. It also rides likes a $500 bike. I just rode an MS150 on the C1 and I didnt have any pains after the ride. If your looking for a nice comfort hybrid, the C1 is a great deal.

hey guys, great bike the picture didn't match though but the bike they sent me was better than the picture. it was black and white with all white rims. I believe the description said dark forest green but oh well. I put the bike together myself in about 30 minutes. just need to put handlebars seat and pedals on a bike that's all, but I still took it to the bike shop just to make sure. they charge me about 65 dollars to redo the whole bike. before I put in the shop the bike was okay but after I got my bike out of the shop the bike was great. cadillac of all bikes great buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a decent bike for the money. It comes mostly assembled, but you need to attach the handle bars, front wheel, seat. The instructions were written by a lawyer, not a bike person, so plan on more caution statements, and disclaimers than actual instructions. I assembled mine in about 30 minutes, but there are many adjustments once that is done. The moral of the story is plan on many dry runs before you do any distance rides. I would say that comparable bikes in some of the stores I have seen are about $100-$150 more, so it is a good deal, but if you are planning of having a bike shop put it together for you, you might as well just get it there for all the trouble it would be. On a final note, the valves are Prista, not like you have on your car so you must have a bike pump, or an adapter before you plan on filling the tires at the local gas station! I bought this for the occasional commute to work, and some exercise, for that it is ideal. If you are going off road, or cross country there are likely better deals out there.
